Mission Statement Commentary
Use exploration of open communication patterns, integrated
thought processes, and art education to demonstrate the exceptional
value of integrated patterns of thought and creativity in all aspects of life.
Why Exploration? Because this is the seed of of a hopefully fundamental change of cultural and
mental framework for all of humanity. We are just now exploring how the complexities of current
societies can make the shift toward benevolence. It is of nececessity time for humanity to evolve
beyond the ancient fundamental tyranical model of antisocial cultural organization. There are many
individuals and groups world wide working with this intention. Many have ideas that we are exploring
with conviction and tenacity, and ideas that we are exchanging. We still have a lot to learn! This
very process of open interchange is an exploration of patterns of less adversarial social interaction
that can replace the ancient and ubiquitous closed hierarchical structure based on what I call TOM
Foolery. The Opposition Model.
Why Open Communication Patterns? Social interactions must be based on universal principles of
fairness. Unfairness is the foundation of anti-social behavior in all it s manifestations. Fairness
cannot even be approached with out eliminating hidden agendas, 'I vs other, and use of what I refer to
as the 'tools of greed' to achieve power over others. The tools of greed are Force, Intimidation,
Fraud, and Cultural Mental Impairment. (CMI) You will not yet be familiar with CMI. I will
introduce you to the idea. I sometimes shorten the phrase 'tools of greed' to (FIFCMI).
Why Integrated Thought Processes? Linear patterns of thought have been enforced as a means of
mind control from the ancient origins of civilization in tyranny for the enslavement of populations
benifiting exclusively a single tyrant. The residue of this closed systematic power structure is
still the prominant (dominant) influence in the BOX we build our minds within. Fairness is not
possible using the constricted linear tunnel vision created by closed mental patterns of thought.
Integration allows open consideration of all possibilities which can result in benevolent social
creativity and innovation..
Why Art Education? Art evolved, probably co-evolved with language long before writing. The very
structure of our brain evolved to percieve and conceptualize using these two uniquely human tools to
enable cultural propagation of sopisticated social patterns of interaction. Every known culture uses
some or several form(s) of art to propagate the important survival insights and standards of social
interaction from generation to generation. Our conceptual possibilities are highly influenced by the
sophistication of our perceptual development. The importance of art is very much rooted in it's
building of integrated patterns of thought. The conceptual structures may be developed linearly or
expanded to these naturally invaluable integrated patterns. Tunnel vision begins to evaporate as the
minds structures are allowed to integrate. The skitzophrenic seperation and closure of all information
and experience that results from rigid linear patterns invisibly cripples our minds. From before witten
records Art has been the means of propagating useful complex interactive variables. We must retrieve
and rebuild this insight.
Why is a demonstration needed? It is not possible to know what you don't know, haven't
experienced, and arn't aware of. Few have experienced any alternatives to TOM Foolery in their entire
lives. Everyone can be more together, creative, and live with less conflict.
