Temenos discussions are meant to continually explore improved social interaction, especially with small groups with creative and innovative intentions. A blog is a good place to explore and test this process. In my experience it can be exciting and enjoyable to have enthusiastic creative discussions. Exploring that kind of experience further is my intent here. It is not my intent to pursue any anti-social exchanges that break the creative flow. I welcome criticism of what I or anyone makes the effort to think about and offer to us but only in the form of how to improve the offering or a suggestion of a better alternative. We are looking for benevolent, helpful, fair-minded, constructive, functionally productive commentary on how to improve our internal mental processes and how to extend those principles to group interaction.

No condescension, blame games, name calling, threatening, or any other time wasting anti-social efforts are acceptable here. The list is extremely long, and admittedly popular. I hope you get the idea.

If you would like to be outraged and condescendingly claim that I am not strictly following the 'scientific method that attitude is a long way from the intent of temenos, but I'm OK with that. I just won't spend much time with mutually demeaning exchanges, NOR WILL I IMPOSE THE VITROLIC ON READERS. BE HELPFUL!

I have been very interested in all of the sciences from an early age but I make no claims of any kind about being a scientist. I am certainly a hungry, but sometimes questioning camp follower. I am an explorer by nature and I am a 'creative type,' No question. I have a hard time feeling insulted by being referred to as a maverick. Because of my convictions that an integrated mind has many advantages, I might suggest that my opinions and observations are from an educated artist's point of view. Some artists might disagree.

The scientific method seems self limiting with still fairly linier processes to moderate exploration of an integrated universe. We can still improve on our methodology. There are still mistakes of over confidence and suppression of the explorers risk and enthusiasm. These are vital elements in the exploration of the universe. Closed linear approaches to proof need to be extended to match the universe being investigated. OK, so I am the mouth of a babe. And I am certainly aware that 'Kill The Messenger' is not so literal, but still a popular cultural and even a scientific pastime.

The necessity to limit the destructive intentions may become very obvious. The focus and integrative efforts will be toward creative explorations. Critique is absolutely necessary but NOT during the creative exploration of anything. There is plenty of time for purposeful critique and no lack of motivated, committed and competent individuals and groups to do so. The idea of Temenos is to offer considerations and discover the relationships, whatever they may be, but to carefully avoid discouraging further exploration.

Someone needs to challenge the status quo and invent possible alternative lines of thought. Of course many alternatives may not 'pan out.' I might remind everyone that the history of science is filled with cases of proven and accepted ideas that were aggressively supported by nearly everyone that also didn't 'Pan out.' Temenos Nexus, LLC.doesn't take so rigid and adversarial position. We are curious about benevolent open exploration of alternatives.
