Mission Statement

Use exploration of open communication patterns, integrated thought processes, and art education to demonstrate the exceptional value of integrated patterns of thought and creativity in all aspects of life.

This is not a 'claiming to know it all' site! I am an explorer by nature. Over many years of exploring a wide variety of subjects and personally testing ideas and methodologies of mind building and use, I am evolving a system that can be used to gradually improve the functionality of one's mind and develop a more benevolent system of social interaction. This is not a system like you are accustomed to finding on the internet where you buy a program that claims to take you from zero to brilliant and/or wealthy in 30 days with no effort on your part and using no money of your own.

I am Inviting others with strong curiosity and an inclination for exploration to join me through Temenos Nexus, LLC. and this website in many excursions that I have pursued personally for years. Exploration is not for the faint of heart! Discoveries offer the choice of the easy status quo or inventing changes that will create value from the new insights. In our complex cultures the choice toward development usually involves teamwork and is a highly social enterprise. Teamwork implies some agreement on intentions and how to work together. Temenos Nexus, LLC is highly concerned with improving social interaction to better facilitate creativity and its progress toward valuable innovation. Temenos is a system in early stages of public introduction. It is a different approach to social interaction integrated around the ideas of fairness, exploration, (creativity) and mental integration processes

Exploration involves investigation beyond ones comcort zone and requires courage and effort and, in groups, a flexible and benevolent social structure. Exploring the roads well traveled is certainly worth the effort and necessary, but I am refering to the more adventurous meaning of the word that is likely to result in creativity and sometimes leads to innovation. Personally and in groups any new considerations will challenge the accepted norms. The conventional standards of interaction, 'Roberts Rules of Order, conventional group 'meeting' politics, etc. are all dominance structured and inhibit or explicitly block spontaneous creative insights and open communication.

Temenos as a concept and as a group process has the intention of opening the lines of communication and creating a flexible means of many ideas surfacing. This is a guaranteed source of disagreement! A whole range of social graces are helpful in these circumstances to avoid disagreement descending into conflict and irrational anti-social practices. As a general term I use 'benevolence to cover the range of social niceties that are often recognized and almost as often not personally felt. We must teach ourselves conviction concerning the curiosity about the ideas of others and an openness and respect for their efforts. We must appreciate their openness and offer ours in return.

In retrospect I am convinced that a surprising subject (to many) is most important for early exploration because it sets a necessary foundation for all social interaction. Fairness is universally paid lip-service, but is usually a 'pat answer' realm where questioning and exploration isn't considered necessary. In fact, it is a universal idea that has been under tenacious attack for millennia resulting in thousands of sophisticated standard approaches to distorting its essence. These unfair intentions and methodologies are the ultimate source of almost all conflict.

Conflict is the hallmark of thousands of years of civilization. Between individuals or between nations or blocks of nations, the desire for 'Peace' is professed, but dominance is actually the underlying or seriptitious intention. By placing fairness as a first principle, Temenos environments hope to minimize conflict. Conventional habits and the language we think and communicate with is booby trapped ubiquitously with the standards, models and attitudes of what I call the 'Opposition model'
